Do you want to feel completely uncomfortable, horrified, & left in a state of utter confusion? Watch Antichrist with Willem Dafoe & Charlotte Gainsbourg. Interestingly good movie.

Amazon Kindle Fire - GUI Interaction
I find that it’s responsiveness to my touch is only slightly off. But its enough to make me feel “detached” from the GUI. Sometimes it’s not sesitive enough while at other times it’s too sensitive. It’s interesting to note that the iPad’s keyboard, while in portrait mode, is not a comfortable experience but in landscape mode it is; on this device...

Amazon Kindle Fire - Silk Browser
The browser renders and loads pages decently quick but still leaves much much to be desired. It doesn’t feel any different from any other android based browser I’ve used in the past. Only reaping benefits from the speed boost it gets from Passing through Amazon’s severs before reaching the browser itself. It’s still choppy when scrolling or zooming in. I had some issues...

Amazon kindlefire
I love the look and feel of the Kindle Fire. It feels extremely sturdy and well built. It is much heavier than I expected it to be but this adds to the sturdy feel it has in my hands. It doesn’t feel like a $200 device. The screen looks gorgeous as well as the interface. For being Android, it does run smoother than I would have given it credit for but still does not match the fluid...

Child Slaves Made Your Halloween Candy. Stop... →
What concerns me even more is that we, as consumers, are not demanding that this be stopped. Some continue to buy chocolate even after learning about these human rights abuses. I’ve heard excuses from people in my own life, and they echo the rationalizations I’ve made myself in the past: “We can’t afford fair-trade.” “We’re addicted to chocolate.” “We can’t change...

Dear Company Costume Event
I don’t like to wear costumes to the office because doing so encourages human interaction and human interaction is overrated. If I like you, I’ll come talk to you when I’m feeling “social”.

YOU are the "Job Creators" →
The American Political Spin Systems have conjured up one of the greatest bullshit terms ever. Millionaires aren’t the job creators. You, the consumers, are. Let’s try to start a trickle effect where it matters. Stop buying shit made overseas and buy domestic.  Kudos to Stef for linking this to me :)

OS X and iOS Are Not Jails →
“Having said that, from my perspective many arguments from free software advocates come across as the kind of petulant all-or-nothing proposition that’s become an increasingly common argumentative fallacy over the past decade. Essentially it sounds to me like the most fervent of the free software enthusiasts are saying, “Either you give me the freedom to do whatever I want,...

WOMPStep
Until recently, I always felt the need to correct people when they would incorrectly explain that Dubstep is a dark, hard, agressive, dirty, disgusting [or whatever the fuck other adjective they ran with at that moment] bassline over some…….well……by that point, clearly nothing else mattered to the describer because Dubstep = Bassline and NOTHING else. It would enrage me to...
