Amazon Kindle Fire - Silk Browser

The browser renders and loads pages decently quick but still leaves much much to be desired. It doesn’t feel any different from any other android based browser I’ve used in the past. Only reaping benefits from the speed boost it gets from Passing through Amazon’s severs before reaching the browser itself. It’s still choppy when scrolling or zooming in. I had some issues with it correctly loading pages. I tried to compose this on the Kindle Fire but to no success requiring me to use my iPad.

Amazon kindlefire

I love the look and feel of the Kindle Fire. It feels extremely sturdy and well built. It is much heavier than I expected it to be but this adds to the sturdy feel it has in my hands. It doesn’t feel like a $200 device.

The screen looks gorgeous as well as the interface. For being Android, it does run smoother than I would have given it credit for but still does not match the fluid experience you get with iOS.
